The 2007 recipients of the St. Joe's Women's Centre
"Quality of Life" Award are:
Joy and Dick Hudson
Dick and Joy Hudson have been married for 46 years with two
children and five grandchildren. They are active members
of St. Joseph's Parish and its many ministries, Ottawa
Cursillo Movement and Prison Fellowship. Both are
currently serving on the Ottawa Christmas Exchange,
Waupoos Foundation, St. Vincent de Paul Society and numerous
other boards and associations.
Sharon McGarry
Sharon is a firm believer in giving back to her community.
She is a past Board member of Hospice at Maycourt and the
Perley Foundation. In addition, she is an honourary
member of the Bytown Kiwanis Club, a member of the
Women'sBusiness Network, of the Canadian Association of Family
Enterprises and is currently serving as fundraising chair of
"Building the Dream."
