The Centre also offers the following:

Assistance
with Legal Aid referrals.

Referrals
to Aboriginal Centres in the area.

Referrals
to Women's Homeless Shelters are available upon
request.

A
parent-child program is offered. The program hours are
Mon-Fri, 12:30 - 4:00 pm. The e-mail address where

. In partnership with "Growing
Up Downtown", the outreach staff offers information
and referrals for parent resources on Thursdays from noon
until 2 p.m.

In
partnership with the Sandy Hill Community Health Centre,
the Centretown Community Health Centre, St. Ann's Clinic
and the Sexual Assault Centre, referrals and information
are provided at the Centre for the clients.

In
partnership with the Public Health Department (City
of Ottawa), a nurse visits the Centre weekly to discuss
topics of concern with the clients.

Referrals
for drug/alcohol addiction counselling, through
the Royal Ottawa Hospital and other agencies.
-
Support
for incarcerated women in the form of acceptance
of collect phone calls to the Centre from the penal institution
and the preparation and mailing of "care packages" for
inmates who have a connection with the Centre.

Referrals
to and information from OASIS, an organization
focusing on the welfare and health of persons who are
HIV positive or who are suffering with full-blown AIDS.

In
partnership with the Rape Crisis Centre, we offer
one on one confidential support.

In
partnership with the Elizabeth Fry Society, an
outreach worker offers one on one support with women involved
in street level prostitution.
